New blog look

Decided to change the look of the blog. I really love this one but am frustrated with the broken sword at the top. Not sure how to fix that. So if anyone can tell me how, please do!

Definitely something odd in the code, because the background is terminating way too high on the page - I had to highlight text to read it. :(
